Chermain Wong
Chermain attained her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Masters in Clinical Psychology at University College London and the National University of Singapore, respectively. She is a registered psychologist and clinical supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and a Certified Group Psychotherapist with the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
With extensive experience in mental health, Chermain previously served as Deputy Head of the Department of Mood & Anxiety at the Institute of Mental Health where she spearheaded specialised programs addressing mood, anxiety, and interpersonal difficulties while leading interdisciplinary teams. Her contributions extended to research initiatives, clinical education, and public health strategy development.
A dedicated educator, Chermain has taught clinical psychology to undergraduate and postgraduate students at Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore. She also provides continuing education to general practitioners and mental health professionals while engaging in community outreach programs to promote mental wellbeing.
